Digital Skills for Seniors Program

Empowering Seniors Through Technology

The Digital Skills for Seniors Program was created to help older adults build the confidence and skills needed to navigate today’s digital world. Through digital literacy training, the program empowered seniors to access online resources, connect with loved ones, and use essential digital services, supporting their ability to age well at home and remain engaged in their communities.

The program featured instructor-led, interactive learning sessions that promoted social inclusion and helped participants expand their social networks. Training was delivered in community settings, independent senior residences, and long-term care homes, with technology provided to participants during sessions.

To make learning accessible to a diverse community, multilingual support was offered in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish.
